iNExT

This is the homepage of the iNExT workshop, entitled The NExT Phase of Particle Physics, which will take place on 23 & 24 September 2010 at the University of Sussex.

The workshop will gather international research leaders together with postgraduates and early career researchers from the UK and beyond, to discuss recent advances and prospects for fundamental particle physics, including electroweak symmetry breaking, dark matter,  flavour, neutrino and astroparticle physics. The programme consists of plenary talks, parallel talks, and a poster session. The event celebrates the inauguration of the NExT Institute, a regional alliance in the south-east of England to promote the phenomenology of particle physics at the interface between theory and experiment.

We invite applications for parallel talks and poster presentations, to be held in addition to the plenary talks (see the programme page). Two prizes are set out for the best talk and the best poster presentation by a postgraduate or early career researcher. Because of a local network failure, the deadline for registration and abstract submission is extended until Sunday, 5 September 2010.

The workshop is sponsored by the Roberts Skills Enhancement Fund. In addition to a reduced registration fee, a number of bursaries to support local expenses are available for postgraduates and early career researchers presenting a talk or a poster. To apply for a bursary, please register by Tuesday, 24 August 2010.

New: Registration deadline extended! (30 August 2010)
